Honda India launched its eagerly awaited hatchback Honda Brio toady at a starting price of Rs 3.95 lakh which goes up to Rs 5.1 lakh. Honda Brio hatchback is powered with a 1.2 Liter i-VTEC petrol engine which can churn out a maximum power of 88bhp and a peak torque of 10Nm. The mini wagon is certified to deliver a decent mileage of 18.4 Kmpl.

Honda has made a fresh entry in the Indian hatchback market and that too with the best - a small car christened Honda Brio. It is the same car that has bagged great applauds from audience at the New Delhi Auto Expo 2011 and it was then the story of its popularity started. Since then, Honda Brio became the most awaited car from Honda stable. Since its appearance and subsequent launch in Thailand on March 17, 2011, it is welcomed well and is tagged to be a kind of car that has the capacity to revolutionize Honda small car sales. In India, Honda Brio is the second hatchback offering after Honda Jazz in the already competitive small car market.

It is the lowest priced and most affordable Honda car in India and has simply outstanding crease on its body and a stunning forward inclined stance to woo car buyers. As per the official information about Honda Brio it is powered by 1.2 litre engine that currently also powers Honda Jazz.
